How do I switch to 5 minute increments for IOS calendar events in IOS 15? On previous IOS versions you just double tap the time setting when scheduling an event. This doesn't seem to be working in IOS 15.

Steven, if it helps, if you tap the number on the wheel, a number pad will pop up allowing you to simply type in the time you want. Too many taps in my opinion, but it’s something I guess until Apple hopefully fixes this.

When I downloaded the latest update to iOS 15.1 a few days ago, the five minute increments were back.

We see that you are having an issue with setting up an appointment in 5 minute increments. We want to help. You should be able to make an appointment to the minute level, for example, Doctor appointment at 9:52 a.m. To make sure that we are covering everything, here's how to Create and edit events in Calendar on iPhone - Apple Support.
If you are not able to do that, have you tried restarting and checking again? That would be a good next step.

Lori_G7 - That is the issue. I don't want "to the minute level." When Apple first came out with this several years ago (and now have gone back to it) we were able to switch from "to the minute level" to "the five minute level." I don't want "to the minute level". I just want my choices to be in increments of five minutes. In previous versions we could just double tap the "to the minute" field and it would switch to an every five minute view. How do I do that in IOS 15?

If Apple ever seeks feedback from what people are saying, I would appreciate it if Apple (in an upcoming update) would make it so that we could only see the five minute increments. As stated above in the thread, at one time (in earlier versions) this view was available via a double tap. Thanks for listening to my feedback.
Yes!!!! Please put that feature back! Why did you take that away? Who sets a meeting for 9:52? No one! That’s who! Leaving the option is fine, but make sure that we have the option! Scrolling through 60 numbers trying to get to the right number (:00, :15, or :30) is annoying and a waste of time. What is this, the Wheel of Fortune on The Price is Right?!? 😒
Actually. We use the iOS calendar for golf tee times which are scheduled at odd times. So we need the capability for one minute intervals. In other words there are other calendar uses besides meetings.
I’ve found that for odd appointment times, it helps more to include the exact time in the title of the appointment. I’ve had problems in the past without including it. By the way, my calendar now shows 5 minute increments now. I have no idea what happened, but welcome it. Maybe it was a recent update?
I like to create calendar entries in non-5-minute increments so 15.1.1 is a bummer for me thus far. Also, Safari now has you type web addresses at the bottom? WTF? Why change that? Was it that important or does Apple need to say they updated 21 things instead of 20?
Sure. Makes sense. All I am asking for is the way it used to be where one had the choice between one minute intervals and 5 minute intervals.
How? Want the feature back after years of use. Nothing more irritating than scrolling in minute increments.
