What the what!? What is the reason for a lack of split keyboard!? So I have to buy a keyboard case!? This is a thousand dollar device and lacks the ability to split the keyboard. I would be really interested to hear why this is the case. Could this please be updated?

Hello. The split keyboard functionality is unfortunately unavailable on the iPad Pro 11-inch iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation and later) models. It should still be available on other iPad models, however, such as the iPad Air, iPad mini, and 10.2 iPad. At this point, you should provide this as feedback to Apple here.

To my knowledge, the split keyboard is now available only on iPad models that have a Home button.
