  1. Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences.
  2. Click the Advanced tab. Select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window.
  3. Select the Develop drop-down menu. Click Empty Cache.
  4. Note: You may want to also clear your browser history.

Hi,

Is there a workaround to do this? I have a situation in Safari where the finder window will not close. I must have opened it to select something and never finished, so now this finder window won't go when I hit CANCEL.

Here's a screenshot. See how it says "Confirm the file you want to load for bookmark "Design_Trends_A3.pdf"..?

If I click on cancel, it pops back up with a different one of those... could have something to do with all the tabs I had up at the time.. I tried finding that PDF and the others, but can't find them..

Any ideas on how I can stop this process would be appreciated..

This could be a new question I post perhaps..(?)
