Powerbeats Pro loses sound when adjusting volume on my Apple Watch

I just bought the Powerbeats Pro to use it with my Apple Watch for running. Unfortunately it loses sound when I try and adjust the volume on the headphones when connected with my Apple Watch.

Any idea what the issue is .. is this because my iPhone is in proximity and Powerbeats connects automatically with it? How do I manage this issue, I need the Powerbeats to work independently with my Apple Watch

Hi Karina,

I was able to fix the issue by rebooting my Apple Watch and then every time I want to use my Powerbeats Pro with my Apple Watch I disconnect the Powerbeats Pro from the iPhone Bluetooth connection.

I used it for 3 runs recently and it worked perfectly.

Thanks, RajatChat

Hello RajaChat,

We'd love to assist you with getting your Beats to work with your Apple Watch. Just to clarify, when the sound stops, does it show the earphones are back connected to the iPhone?

You can learn more about the earphones switching from one device to another here: Set up and use your Powerbeats Pro with an iPhone, Mac, or other device

Take care
