Connecting iPad to DAC
Hi. Is it possible to connect an external DAC with USB input to a 2016 iPad Pro using a lightning to USB adapter?

Device support over Lightning is limited.
You might be best advised to seek an external DAC that is MFI (Made for iPad) certified - in preference to attempting to connect the DAC via a Lightning to USB3 Camera Adapter. The former will definitely work with iPad - as the MFI Certification provides assurance of compatibility. The latter may be problematic.
