Account recovery

My new iPhone won’t download anything until I sign into my Itunes account which is different from my main Apple ID. I do not remember my password and the account recovery is unbelievably frustrating. I have access to my phone number and my email to the account but it’s asking me to enter a passcode and after I do it says it’s wrong how can I speed up my account recovery
