Warranty on IPHONE 11
My grandsons iPhone 11 is still under 12 month from purchase. The backside of phone is completely shattered. Does this fall under the 12 month warranty with Apple?

NO, it does not. Accidental damage is not covered and the glass on the back of iPhone is fused to the phone and cannot be replaced or repaired. The entire phone will have to be replaced. If you purchased AppleCare+ at the time of purchase a replacement phone will cost $29. If you did not purchase AppleCare+ a replacement phone is going to cost $399.
Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius to get a replacement phone.
