the app didn't not finish install and can't delete it?!

I try to update the Xcode app and the internet was slow so I stop it and left my MacBook Pro in sleep mode and left the Laptop for 5 days on sleep mode then I opened the laptop to continuously update its start to install the Xcode app again now its keep installing but didn't finish its keep going to the end and then not purchase, I even try to delete the apps but it doesn't work.
