Safari 15 unsafe ports

Hello,

Recently with iOS15 update and Safari 15 on Mac, i've noticed that unsafe ports (previously blocked by other browsers) were also blocked by Safari with no ability to unblock them.

For exemple port 10080 considered unsafe because is abused in nat slipstreaming and for good reason was blocked by default by other browsers too, but with the ability to unblock if some pro users really needs that port to manage a broad number of equipments.

Is there a workaround like on other browsers (Firefox, Chrome etc) to unblock a specific unsafe port blocked by default in Safari 15 on Mac and iOS ?

Thank you,

MacBook Pro

Hi there, have the same issue. We have a property with shared wifi hotspot service across the units. Normally when you connect to the wifi it takes you straight to the hotspot router captive/landing page which is 192.168.1.3:10080 so you can then enter credentials. This was working OK but after iOS 15 update it no longer works and the landing page can’t be displayed. Any tips would be much appreciated! Thanks
