I have somehow locked all my F buttons which I normally used for keyboard backlight, brightness, sound, etc. Now it just gives a beep sound on click.
Please let me know what I can do to go back to default settings.

Go System Preferences >> Keyboard and change Fn key to " Do Nothing " and below that Uncheck " use Fn keys ". This should return the the keyboard functions back to before it was enabled.
In System Preferences->Keyboard->Keyboard, there is a checkbox "Use F1, F2 etc. keys as standard function keys".
Make sure that it is NOT checked.

Run the application with Full Disc Access ( Security & Privacy - Full Disc Access ).
It will take a Snap Shot - both the hardware and software.
The Report will Not Reveal Any Personal Information.
Post back the Full Report - copy and paste - using the Additional Text Icon ( 3rd Icon to last )
We can have a look at the report for possible issues and may have possible suggestions to resolve the issues.

In the same place from previous posting Botton right corner is icon called "modifier keys" and click on it. Inside lower left is Restore Defaults
