Find My “end of day” meaning?

Why does Find My stop sharing my location at 3am when I select “until end of day?” My end of day is midnight, not 3 hours into the new day.

Cant find much on this and chats and discussions with apple technical support have led no where. Almost as if my iCloud account is on PST and I’m in EST timezone physically.
