Apple ID

I can‘t use my email for my Apple ID (the last email does not longer exist and I would like to buy a apple care insurence). It seems that my email is already in using but not for me. I want to reset my email so I can use it as a new email for my Apple ID.

"After you change your Apple ID email address or password, you might need to update your sign-in information with any Apple services you're using" Click on this link to read "What to do after [or before] you change your Apple ID email address or password" --> https://support.apple.com/HT204071

- You may wish to disable Settings > Find My before changing your information, change the information, then reactivate it with the new information.


Apple doesn't have a position statement on re-using email addresses but from reports on this forum it is generally understood if you have recently used an email address with Apple for another purpose such as a rescue email address it cannot be re-used immediately for another purpose.
