Apple 6 Screen is Black Unresponsive

Hello, I have an Apple Watch 6. It was charged about 70% but the screen just went black. I have sound turned off, but I do see it is connected to my phone bluetooth (unless I turn wifi on then it isn't). I have tried the pushing both buttons at the same to to restart on and off the charger, the tapping and pressing, nothing has worked. I am new to using apple, so I don't even know how to get help. I appreciate your time.
