Actually, under certain (not all) circumstances, the Hosts will change a user name. My user name used to be my real name. When I started looking for a new job, for privacy reasons, I requested it be changed. They were quite helpful.

Now, for someone who just signed up and has no history, you're correct, creating a new account is certainly a very reasonable strategy.

Oddly enough, I'd noticed a response you'd made earlier today and thought that it was pretty obvious you'd decided to do more than just look around, you'd decided to stay (yay!!!!) and wondered if you had questioned your choice of user names.
