I randomly got these blurred vertical lines on my Iphone 7+ The lines are a mixture of a grey whitish tone along with some black and green. I never dropped my phone nor did I spill my water on it, they just randomly appeared out of nowhere. Can anyone please guide me?

Your display is likely failing. Have it repaired.
If it were me, I would make sure my device is backed up completely (photos, messages, data, etc.) before shutting it, restarting it, etc.

Will do first thing in the morning, until then is it advisable for me to plug in my charger and let my phone charge or should I just leave it as it is?.
Charging it shouldn't matter. I'd just make sure that you have a backup of the device in iCloud or to a computer. If you decide to have it repaired your data will likely be wiped.
Okay then I’ve started backing up all my data into my icloud so even if it’s repaired, the data would stay safe. I’ve noticed a hot sensation on my iphone’s Home button too, do you recommend turning it off for a while?
