If you buy an Apple product from an Apple authorised reseller, then it should come with a warranty.
If you buy directly from Amazon you should be fine, but I would be wary of dealing with third-party sellers on Amazon/Ebay.
Your best and most secure bet would be purchasing directly from Apple, you can be assured of the consumer warranty and you are also guaranteed the best possible price and service :)
