Sony ax5000 with updated firmware and iOS 15

After the upgrade CarPlay audio is totally broken. Deezer stopped working, tried installing Amazon Music and that doesn’t work either. Turn by turn directions don’t call out the turns unless music is playing (a preexisting problem I was hoping the Sony firmware update would fix, but no luck), and I can’t get any music to play, so no voice directions. Irritating.

Are the problems with Sony or with iOS 15, do people think? Do other devices not have this problem?
