New backup for iPhone/iPad
Just updated too quickly before reading feature for backups with this update. Can anyone inform me? Have searched support re Big Sur 11.6 Sept 30 update but nada!

Hey dialabrain, thanks for the response but my question involves what's new in the update. I've backed up my phone using my Mac several times, but what I overlooked was the reference to a new feature. Guess I'll just have to wait until I do the next backup.
