New Apple Watch needs recharging in less than 48 hours. Takes over two hours to recharge. Is this the way it is supposed to be or is something the matter with it.nthis amount of charging is very inconvenient!

I am asking my question again. I seem to have used the wrong box! My new Apple Watch needs recharging in less than 48 hours and takes over two hours to recharge. Very inconvenient. Is there not something wrong with it?

I doubt anything is wrong. I charge mine overnight, every night. Under "worse case" conditions a watch may only last 18 hours between chargings. To understand Apple Watch performance and its relation to your battery, see:

“Battery life” is the amount of time your device runs before it needs to be recharged. “Battery lifespan” is the amount of time your battery lasts until it needs to be replaced. Maximize both and you’ll get the most out of your Apple devices, no matter which ones you own. See the "Tips for Apple Watch" section in:
