Is there a way to run a 32 bit application after macOS 10.15 Catalina?

I used a 32 bit LaCie "Private-Public" application, to secure my most essential files, which I haven’t been able to access since installing macOS Catalina 10.15.


Many times, I contacted LaCie for help but they never responded.


Is there a way to run a 32 bit application without reverting to an earlier 32 bit macOS (10.14.6 Mojave)?

As for your current dilemma, it does appear you are going to have to create a boot drive or volume with Mojave or earlier in order to use that 32-bit encryption app from LaCie, unfortunately.


Perhaps you can use recovery mode to install a previous macOS version onto a spare external hd or USB stick. Please have a look at the section "Other macOS installation options" in this support document:
