Hello, I have a computer with Mac OS Big Sur version 11.6 installed.
I am trying to disable automatic software updates, but the checkboxes to do so are disabled in the UI. What can I do to enable the UI to be able to disable the functionalities? Thanks!

Are you Logged into the Administrator Account ?? Check in " Users & Groups " in System Preferences and check if the account you are using is an Administrator Account.
Only the Administrator of this computer can allow such changes.
I see two Admin Accounts one for Admin, Mobile and a second that appears to the Admin Account of the Computer itself.
The Admin, Mobile might be controlled by the Computer Admin Account.
Is this a Company Owned computer ??
Is so, communicate to the IT Department regarding this matter
I have an admin role as well.
System Settings -> Software Update -> Advanced checkboxed disabled
