Search function not returning any results

With this most recent update, no matter what criteria I choose for searching, I get no results.

I have tried ALL Mailboxes, selecting individual mail boxes, searching the Inbox...

Searching the Inbox while LOOKING at the email I want Search to find...

I rebooted

I Synchronized All Accounts

Nothing is working....

Who else is having issues with Apple Mail search?

What have you done to fix it?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.6

Make sure spotlight is finished indexing, and if so, rebuild the mailbox in Mail

There was also an old problem where if you had two users logged in one of them couldn’t search in Mai. I think that has been fixed but not sure.
