IOS15 Google Problems with iPad

I just updated my iPad with ios15. Had no choice. If I don't update my ipad with current ios, internet applications shut down while I am using them. Since the update, Google does not work. Google app comes up but when you tap into the search box nothing happens. I have restarted the device several times. Definately not updating iPhone until some of these ios15 bugs are fixed. Thanks!!
