Updated my iPad and found I was having problems with Zoom calls, I couldn’t hear and my mike wasn’t working either after some testing if various different combinations we finally worked out the problem only occurred when the power cable was plugged in. I was resting my iPad in a metal music stand not sure if that made a difference. Has anyone else experienced the same issue

It sounds like you were able to get things isolated down a bit, which is always good to see.
As you noted it happened when it was plugged in, we'd recommend trying a different cable and power adapter, if possible.
Did you have a chance to try testing things out with the iPad not on the metal stand? That could help to isolate it down further as well.
