No subtitles!

Change subtitles or languages for videos in the Apple TV app or iTunes Store - Apple Support

Use the Down button during playback to access Subtitle options.

It is possible that a rented or purchased movie title doesn’t have subtitles. That is a decision by the supplying studio. Please review the advertised language support for that title on the Details page for it.

I tried that and there was no option only off.
