I am having problems accepting a family share on my android phone. I am either told my email or password is wrong or don't receive the verification # and can't request it on my phone. It is also my only device.

What am I doing wrong?

Do you have an Apple ID account with confirmed email address, complete user details, and activated for iTunes Store transactions?


How to create a new Apple ID - Apple Support

On Android mobile devices, you may need the Apple Music app (no subscription or purchase necessary), to help manage and activate the account.


If you can’t get it to accept the invitation by message, then alternatively you may accept directly on the organizer’s device.
