Looking for the same thing more or less. The only way I know is that you build it in HTML5 and add a manifest file to it. A manifest file is something like app.manifest that is included in your html tag. In the manifest file you add all the items that need to be offline avaliable ex: images scripts etc...

When you put then the app to your desktop it will make all the data offline available. This doesn't work over VPN by the way.

Note: it is fine for a small app but not for big ones. The best way would be if you could create IPA files of your html5 apps. That is what i'm seeking for.

No, you cannot run your ipad as a web server. You can run any mac as a webserver out of the box. If you have a laptop you can create an ad-hoc network and have people connect to that so they can see your website. You cannot do this with an iPad.

That's a nice catch, Alancito -- it looks like that paired with the same company's WebCopier would be enormously useful in all sorts of circumstances.
