Tonight I received email saying my Apple ID has been locked for security reasons and now it wants an osid number while I’m trying to verify my account

After receiving that mail message, if you logged into any link to an “Apple login portal” provided by that scam mail message, then your Apple ID has been compromised. The Apple ID was compromised by logging into the fake login portal.

It's fake. Forward it to reportphishing@apple.com as an attachment and then delete it.
If an Apple ID actually gets locked or disabled, its owner will be told when they try logging into it instead of through email.

I just wasn’t sure cause now my find my phone and iCloud aren’t working it’s lightened out where it was before
It’s a scam
Apple will never contact you “out of the blue” in such a manner.
If they suspected that there was a security issue, they’d lock your account and wait for YOU to contact THEM.
Have you checked Settings/Screen Time for any restrictions?
