can't print email from iCloud

How do I print an email -- just the email -- from iCloud MAIL?

When I try to just print, I get all the mailboxes on the left side

as well as the email. The interface is new, so I'm not sure

where the "Print" option is hiding now.... HELP! ;-)

Thanks -- Sue

Yeah, that's the answer, but it's a terrible "solution." If I want

to print out an email for someone, I shouldn't have to share

all my other *private* emails with them. That's just nuts. :-(

Thanks for the reply, though! Appreciate it.

Soooo... All,

You will ONLY find the "Print" option you are looking for on an APPLE device. If you are trying to print from a PC, don't waste your time. You will ONLY get what looks like a screenshot.

This has to be the most frustrating change Apple has made thus far. I have been LOYAL to Apple for over 2 Decades and this is what I get. I can't print from my WORK laptop, because it's not a MAC.... NOT MY CHOICE. So I have to carry around either My iPad, iPadMini, iPhone... ALL APPLE, as stated.. LOYAL... JUST so I can print ONE page to pick up an item I purchased online.

Hi ArtsySue,

Although there isn't a direct way to print out an email from iCloud.com, there some alternative solutions available that we'd suggest instead.

When you're viewing your email from a browser, you can take a screenshot of your email to print out only the areas you capture. If you have a Mac, learn how to do this here: Take a screenshot on your Mac

If you have an Apple device, you can also view and print your emails directly within the Mail app:

Print an email or attachment in Mail on iPhone

Print emails in Mail on Mac

Take care.

Hi ArtsySue,

We understand you'd like to print some of your emails from your iCloud Mail account. If you're using a Mac, you can see how to print them from here: Print emails in Mail on Mac

If you're using iCloud.com to view your emails, you'll need to use your browser's settings to print the webpage. However, this will include everything that you're currently seeing on the webpage outside of the email.

For reference:

Print or create a PDF of a webpage in Safari on Mac

Use Mail on iCloud.com

If you'd like to leave feedback about this directly to Apple, you may do so from Product Feedback.

Take care.

i spent over an hour on the phone apple support today. the first guy was in india and not real up on his english, the second guy was supposedly the highest supervisor and his professionalism was about as good as his knowledge. this is the second call. the first call i got a good tech who was shocked when the print feature was missing (he logged into his own account). this time i had someone remote in so i could actually show him. not everyone in the world has a mac and for apple to remove a print feature without warning or adequate explanation is ridiculous. i use my icloud email for business. i need to print my darned emails, so now the only way i can is to forward them to another email? i think not. this feature better be fixed or they lose my business altogether and ill blast them into h-e-doublehockeysticks.

to the community specialist who answered this. not all humans can afford a mac nor do we all have ipads. i do not print wirelessly from my phone, nor do i have that capability. to take a screen shot of every single page is beyond ridiculous. apple better fix this or i will remove my business from them. this is beyond tolerable. my icloud is my work email and for me to go to great lengths to change my work email well you can then politely put all your apple devices in a place that is most uncomfortable.

fix this problem

Furious here. I am a doctor who cannot escape MS Window medical applications so despite having 5 family iPhones and 4 iPads and 2 MacBook Pro laptops and an Apple Watch, I am now frustrated beyond belief with Apple and this change. I am Very busy as many working people are and Must function across platforms. Thus most of my day I manage my emails from iCloud.com on a windows browser and this has worked for me as I had been able to (and often must) print out and/or pdf save an email. But no longer. I do not have the luxury of switching quickly to my MacBook to simply print as I am working all over the place.

And I might add that the ridiculous additional issue of trying to now save an email without being able to drag and drop is equally time wasting and another ridiculous change Apple made. Sorry folks but I think you have lost me as a customer at long last and you need to remember that not everyone lives in your hollow bubble.
