Some mails are sorted in the Archive folder. Why? Ad how do I manage this folder?
Generally, the action to Archive an email requires the Express & Purposeful Action of the User to Move or Archive the email.
In the Sidebar of Apple Mail, one manages this Archive Folder like any other e-mail folder including Deletion of an archived e-mail.
The problem is that the archive is full with more than 100 mails that I never put there. It seems like som automatic operation outside of my control. This is what really worries me. I know how to get mail into archive , but I don't understand how the archive fills itself.
Good point @ James Brickley makes about another e-mail server in play. It might be the source of unexpected Archives been created. Best to communicate with them for more information and or configurations for their service to avoid the Archiving issue being experienced.
Matter of choice.
Just use the Webmail Service of the Norwegian supplier and remove it from Apple Mail Application.
Best of both worlds.
Who is your email provider? Gmail? I know that Google Mail does some automatic archiving, etc.
Not Gmail. In addition to iCloud the major Norwegian supplier online.no
Thank you for your contribution. I might leave the other mail system and stick only to iCloud. :-)
