change google background page in safari

I just updated safari on my macbook and now my google background page is black how can i change it back to white?

Some websites query the Light/Dark Mode status on your Mac and adapt accordingly. I'm not sure if Google is one of these sites, but most sites that do this should have an option to force either Light Mode or Dark Mode.


For Google in particular, go to the bottom right corner of the search page, and click the Settings link. Click the Appearance button to toggle between Dark Mode and Light Mode.
