In theory, deleting the Printer instance in the Add-A-Printer pane, and then re-adding your printer is supposed to cause the indirect downloading of the appropriate Printer Driver package.
Some Printer-makers have walked away from supporting their printers in modern (Big Sur and later) MacOS, leaving them to use AirPrint or generic postscript, if capable, or leaving them high and dry if not capable of those generic drivers.
