my I6s battery charging indicator is yellow not green. what does what mean?

It means you have set Settings > Battery > Low Power Mode to "on".

This means that you have your iPhone set to Low Power Mode.

To turn OFF Low Power Mode, open Settings ➔ Battery ➔ Low Power Mode: Set this to OFF.
