Mail crash

Hi

i have a problem with mail.

macbook pro 2020 M1 - mac os big sur 11.6

Mail crash regularly, the problem is related to an exchange account.

I've tried all the solutions proposed on other posts, as restart mac, reinstall OS, delete envelope file, delete preferences, delete the account and setup again (5 times), rebuild the account on mail.

I've a long call with apple assistance, 3 hours on the phone but no solutions found.

all the other account are working well on mail, also other exchange account.

From the log the problem is every time the same:

2021-10-02 02:59:46.456 Mail[3954:92804] Received an unexpected error: Error Domain=MFEWSErrorDomain Code=190 "(null)" UserInfo={NSLocalizedRecoverySuggestion=Processing item data size exceeds allowed limit}

2021-10-02 02:59:46.495 Mail[3954:92802] -[EWSMessageType IsOutOfDate]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x1373cee30

2021-10-02 02:59:46.496 Mail[3954:92802] *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '-[EWSMessageType IsOutOfDate]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x1373cee30'

Anyone has the same and solved?

thanks

Seems you have company...

[EWSMessageType IsOutOfDate] - Apple Community

Start up a Mac with Apple silicon in safe mode

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > Shut Down.
  2. After your Mac shuts down, wait 10 seconds.
  3. Press and hold the power button on your Mac until the startup options window appears showing available startup disks and Options.
  4. Select a startup disk.
  5. Press and hold the Shift key, click Continue in Safe Mode, then release the Shift key.

To leave safe mode, restart your Mac normally, without pressing and holding any keys during startup.

If still no good Disconnect from the Internet, then start Mail, look for the last rec'd eMail.

Does Mail crash if no internet?

Quit Mail & login to your WebMail in a Browser, if possible delete any later eMails there after the last rec'd one on the Mac.

If you have no POP accounts & they’re all IMAP accounts then in Mail’s Mailbox menu choose Rebuild.
