I have an iPhone 6 that I’m not using but had pictures and information on it that I really wanted… recently the batter swelled up so back the phone busted open and cracked the screen. Will apple replace this phone?

I am not 100% sure you can get your data back, it depends on what components need to be changed. If it is just the battery, back casing and front screen you might be able to get back your data. If the logic board needs to be replaced then you can not get back that data unless you had a previous backup. Not for free. You have a nearly 8 year old phone. Expecting Apple to replace an old out of date device is not realistic. If you didn't back up those photos after all these years, or sync them with iCloud, they're gone.
