Has anyone tried to connect a HP ENVY 6432e series printer to a MAC ELCapitan

No, I have not tried this, but the HP Envy 6432e All-in-One Printer is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support, and the information on page 52 in the HP ENVY 6400e All-in-One series manual (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c07043346.pdf) indicates that it should work:

The printer is compatible with Mac computers running macOS or OS X 10.7 and later and Apple AirPrint.

Follow the instructions in this section to enable printing from a Mac computer using AirPrint.


The only way to find out for sure would be to carry out a test with AirPrint. In order to use AirPrint, the printer and the computer must be connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router). You may want to try to reset the printing system and add the printer as an AirPrint printer.

It is possible that HP software for this printer will not work with OS X El Capitan 10.11, though.
