I updated to IOS15.01 and watch 8.0 and my iPhone 11 Pro will not unlock with Apple Watch. It is still saying that it cannot connect to Apple Watch. Any suggestions?
Op, if helpful i tried everything as well and only way i found to truly solve this is to fully resetting the iphone and start fresh from a backup.
I have the same issue after upgrading to the 13 Pro Max.
Everything worked fine in my old setup with XS Max with same OS versions.
I always get the 'Unable to Communicate with Apple Watch' message despite the watch being actively connected and unlocked.
Edit - Just saw the update. Thought I was up to date.... I was wrong.
That did it… So simple. I thought I had done that, when the phone updated… and maybe even after, but apparently not. Thanks for your quick reply. :)
On the iPhone, go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode > Unlock with Apple Watch and reset it.
