My I-Pad is not holding a charge. Need an appt to determine whether it is better to get a new I-Pad or get my current I Pad fixed

See above - either need a new I-Pad or a new battery in my existing I-Pad

If the iPad remains running, you would be well advised to directly contact Apple Support using the Get Support link at top-right of this page - and request a remote battery test; the results of this test may better inform your next steps - and the economic viability of a battery replacement.

Alternatively, the technicians at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store will be able to test and assess your iPad:
