My phone number is not showing up in the Settings > Phone menu as shown in the picture. This affecting FaceTime/iMessage as my number does not appear there either. So I cannot be contacted on FaceTime/iMessage using my phone number.

I am happy to report that the problem was fixed. It was a problem with my message center number. It was wrong. To fix it the carrier service personnel placed my sim in another phone as changing on my iPhone proved difficult. They fixed it and now my number appears.
First of all can u put it there because is a field that allows modification
and for activation of facetime check date and time ,update,vpn, if u have money in ur carrier sim, if u have strong conection of wifi /net, try restart device
Thank you for the info. I’m currently not getting the option to modify. It’s an iPhone 11. I also tried restarting and factory resetting as well. Still the problem persists.
