I am unsure of which charger to use for my iPhone 13 for normal charging, not fasting charging.

What charger (wattage and cable) can I use to normally charge my iPhone 13. I’ve heard that fast charging is not necessarily the best method of consistently charging for the battery life. Can I use the charger that came with my previous phone, iPhone 11 which is 5W and USB to lightning or a 10W charger, with no heating of the charging block and the phone?

You can use the older power adapter (and the cable that came with it). See the following from Buy iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini - Apple

We encourage you to re‑use your current USB‑A to Lightning cables, power adapters, and headphones, which are compatible with these iPhone models. But if you need any new Apple power adapters or headphones, they are available for purchase.

You can also use the newer 20W or larger power adapter with no issues.
