I received my iPhone 13 Pro Max when it launched September 24. But since I have had it I have noticed that the lock sound is significantly lower than my previous iPhone 11. iPhone 11 lock sound is more than 2 times louder. This isn’t a huge issue, but I was just curious if all new iPhone 13’s had a lower lock volume? Is it iOS 15? Or is it just mine? Was curious to see if anyone else had this experience.
Same here, iPhone 13 pro…barely audible to the point where it may as well be silent. I’m coming from iPhone X and it was 10 times louder than the 13 pro. As you’ve stated, it’s not a huge issue if it’s same across all 13 series phones and was designed to be barely audible…but if it’s a defect, I’d like to know what my options are

I also have the same issue. In fact, all notification sounds is way lower than my previous XS Max. I'd even say that the whole phone seems to have lower sound compared to my XS Max but the system sound (sound when locking device, tapping on keyboard, notifications) are particularly noticeable.
I just got my new 13 pro max about a week ago and it was one of the first things I noticed too, I combed through Google to see if it was a defect and found nothing so I guess it’s just a change! I was losing my mind thinking I already had a problem with my phone… Plus I liked the sound too lol
Jup, same here. Can´t find anything on google tho as a troubleshoot, and for me it´s a huge issue cause i liked the sound :D
