Volume control

Is there a way to lock the settings of volume of the phone speakers so my kids can not turn the volume up super loud?

iPhone 11, iOS 14

You can use Guided Access. It limits use to a single app and disables access to Control Center which has a volume control. It also has an option to disable the hardware volume buttons. You would also want to disable any area of the screen that has a volume control in the app.

Is the switch for Volume Buttons in the disabled position? It should be in the left position and greyed out. When switched to the right and green it means the volume control buttons will operate.

Also keep in mind that the volume buttons are only disabled while Guided Access is active.

Thank you for your response! I tried the guided access which works with the volume control in the specific app. But the volume control buttons on the side of the phone were still working even after disabling it through guided access. Any reason why those buttons are still working after disabling them through guided access?
