Why do I get texts when in a focus mode? I want to turn off all notifications, help please

It appears that you've had a chance to review Use Focus on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, which is great. Are you receiving messages from specific contacts? If so, do you have Allowed Notifications enabled for those same contacts?
