Apple TV aerial screensavers
Why does my Apple TV only show the downtown LA screensaver and nothing else. Any way to remedy this?

Try setting a non-aerial screen saver, activate it once, then set back to Aerial, and let it get new clips over the next couple of days. That is as close to a reset as you can get for just this feature.
Leave it on to allow for downloads to happen (it won’t download anything in sleep mode).
It will download more clips over time (1 per interval as you have configured in Settings), if it gets the chance to do so. Make sure Download New Video is not set to ‘Never’! So give it time, and then don’t reset to a different non-Aerial screen saver, as that might discard some clips already downloaded.
Downloaded clips are specific to the resolution and HDR settings of the Apple TV. Mismatched clips (from before a change in settings) may get ignored.
