Prior to the iOS 15.1 update I had a battery indicator for my watch (Series 2) appearing on my iPhone (11), in the Control Centre. That has now disappeared. Only the phone battery indicator remains.
The watch is still paired to the phone. I've restarted the phone and removed and re-added the Battery widget - no difference.
Was this a deliberate removal, or is there a problem somewhere in my set up?

Just happened to me as well. Watch 2 disappeared from battery widget after updating to 15. Tried restarting phone no charge but watch restart (as slow as it is) seems to have regained function in widget for now. 🤷♂️
The battery information will only appear when your device (Apple Watch / Airpod) is connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth.
I have two battery widgets running. One is square and shows no percentages, the other is rectangular and shows percentages for both watch and phone.
I'll say it again - before installing the 15.1 update, the watch battery icon was visible on the phone's battery widget permanently. It has now disappeared entirely.
I have not touched or changed any settings.
Hopefully it stays sorted. Now if we can get the % showing as well…… that’d be a treat.

Good tip. Definitely going to try the rectangle (angle). The % did show up in square when it was just phone. Cheers
