Yes I definitely made sure the screen protector had nothing to do with it. I tried with it on and off with the same outcome. The new phone they sent me worked as I mentioned but had to update it and force a reboot for it to work properly.

I had to get a replacement phone from Verizon and when I received the new phone it needed to be updated at first along with a forced reset to make the changes apply. When I first received the replacement phone it was doing the exact same thing as the original phone which was just a really bad delay on the touch screen or in better terms it was intermittent touch screen. But after the forced restart on the replacement it's working as should. Best of luck hope this helps.

Changing the hepatic touch from (Fast) to (Slow) solved the problem for me..

HEY APPLE, give us a solution to the problem that we are actually asking about. The iPhone 13 keyboard has very low sensitivity OR it's just too small and insists on registering touches in between keys. Either way THERE IS NO WAY TO FIX IT CURRENTLY! No, haptic and assistive touch aren't at all similar to what we are asking about. Zooming the entire display is also a dumb response that includes rearranging your home screen. It's taken me like 20 minutes to get this far into typing because you have to tap on each key 3 freaking times for it to register. I didn't have this problem back with the iPhone 5 a decade ago, why is it here now? Please fix THIS PROBLEM. It is unavoidable and maddening.

I have a problem where the right hand side of the screen is less sensitive to touch than the rest so the letter p only works sometimes. Similarly the delete key. If I turn the keyboard round it works fine. It’s the far right hand side of the screen. The phone is brand new. I’m going to send it back if this can’t be fixed.

My brand new iPhone13MaxPro is having serious issues recognizing my touch and it is super annoying to not be able to access my calendar or switch days! Super serious!!!!!! It is still in return possible phase!

Yes I too am having problems with my brand new iPhone 13 Pro Max. The touch sensitivity on the keyboard is absolutely horrible. I have a screen protector on and it makes it impossible to use the keyboard. I don’t wanna have to takeoff the screen protector just to be able to type. I too am in the return phase still as my phone isn’t even a week old yet. Is there a fix for this yet before I have to return this phone?

I am also finding many issues with the touchscreen, not for the first time. It is extremely aggravating and seems to be getting worse.

there is no screen saver on my phone, I have one to install but I definitely didn’t want to make the issue worse!

I am having to turn phone off and on and/or wait for phone to start responding.

mine is a 13 Max Pro, it is not the screen or keypad size…

Same issues, and typically on the KEYS "P" and the "delete"（X）when I type it, always need to click mony times. Besides I founld that you are always having to cilck the middle space of those two keys. If you click the edge of the right side of them, it will not respond....

I am having major issues as well. I type extremely fast and have been even faster with swiping. Swiping hasn’t been fairing so well so I’ve been back to typing. I kept making a lot of mistakes so instead of typing without looking I started watching the keys again, back to basics. And I’d notice I could be trying to hit a certain key/letter and I’d hit the one to the right of it. Try to adjust a little to the left to hit the same key I was attempting to and I’d still miss and hit the key/letter now to the left of it. There is Nothing more frustrating when you’re trying to do something quickly and efficiently the first time and you have to keep going back and erasing everything because of it and them forget what you were writing. I even tried to do the Voice to text feature but that has never liked me it puts absurd words all the time and it takes just as much time as I was typing, erasing and correcting. No I do not have any screen protector on it

Please update your software, and also explain your problem please.

On my 3rd phone in 2 weeks. I cannot type on the 13 pro max. I had an old android LG venture X that was wonderful and this overpriced piece of junk just wears me out.
