MacBook Air screen crack

Hello - my laptop seems to have fallen as their is a crack in the screen and every time I try turn it it stays black with a few coloured lines on the screen under the crack. If I send it in to be repaired how long would the repair take and how much would it cost?

New MacBook Air screen turned completely black I bought a brand new macbook air around three months ago since im going to college in the fall, I never dropped and its in pretty good condition. Today I noticed my screen started to flicker and about 3 minutes after the flickering, the screen turned completely black. I have no clue as why this happened since this is my first macbook, should I take it in for repairing or is there anything I can do at home to fix it. If repairing is the best option how much would it cost???

Well for the estimate time of repair and also the cost it will be determine after your macbook get check by the technician on apple service center, for further information you can visit this link https://support.apple.com/repair
