HomePod can’t see any HomeKit accessories

Hello there,

I have a HomePod mini, and I setup 3 smart plugs connecting to HomeKit. It has been around 6 months since I got it, and it’s been working fine, controlling the plugs with ease. On morning though, I ask my HomePod, “Hey Siri, turn on the lights.” It replies by saying that it doesn’t see any HomeKit accessories. I tried to unplug it and plug it back in, and it still says that. When I go into my iPhone or iPad, I can easily go into the app and control the outlets. I have updated my iPad to iPadOS 15.1, and there is no available updates for the HomePod.

Thanks for answering, but signing out and in did not fix the issue.

I have this same issue since updating to iOS 15. All of my HomePods keep disconnecting. Renaming one of them will temporarily fix the issue but then it goes back to not finding any accessories after awhile until you rename it again.

Hello,

For some reason, the HomePod issue is now fixed. It didn’t update or do anything. Weird. Thanks anyway for all of the support on this issue!

In the Home App, long press on the HomePod icon, scroll down to Primary User and sign out of your Apple ID, then sign back in. See if that helps.
