Is the menu size at the top of the page dependent on screen resolution?

I do not remember seeing this prior to the macOS 11.0 Big Sur... I do know user have been asking for this as a preferences setting for quite sometime.

The Menu bar across the top is tied to the screen resolution, there is no other user preference.

Actually, Open System Preferences > Accessibility > Display. You have a choice of Default or Large "Menu bar size:" the difference is small. You have to logout/restart to see the change.
