Apps won’t refresh, not connected to server

Why won’t certain apps refresh on my phone? I have tried rebooting, I have reset network settings, I have checked date & time and nothing has helped. What else can I try?

What apps are you referring to? Is it Facebook, Instagram, or Whatsapp? If so, these services are having a major outage today. Your best bet is to try again later.
